Title: S50 trans
Post by: Gunni on February 14, 2007, 07:00:48 AM
Could I make that work?
I have one itīs from my S50B30 Euro,

I can get a clutch kit for it cheap,
and would thus want a lighter 240mm flywheel.
Actual savings is pretty good as a clutch kit for my now M20 setup is mroe then $400. and this clutch kit is not even close

This would be ideal when I turbo the M42 and
would use with a 3,25diff I have.

So does the M50/S50 transes bolt on?

I know it bolts up to the engine.  Not sure about the rear mount or driveshaft length though.

I donīt have concerns about the driveshaft as I have a number of them,

If the trans fits the engine, I should be able to bolt up a 240mm flywheel + a 240mm clutch kit,
Shouldnīt that be a safe assumtion,
