Well im hopefully getting a 1992 318 soon and i was interested in seeing what class those of you who autocross run in. And if it is above stock, what sort of mods do you have and how well do you do compared to others in your class?

The Stig!, never thought I'd see you end up here :P
I'll let the other more experienced auto x'ers post up.

1992 = e36 or :confused:
If you have an e30 it's all down to who your competition is. Luckily for me I managed to stay ahead of the others in the Peachtree chapter auto-x where I run in Group B with Mini Coopers (not the cooper S), e36 328iS, e30 325i/iS etc.
It's not easy but it sure is a TON OF FUN competing with good comraderie down here in GA :)

In my free time i like to take slower cars and beat faster ones in autocross. It gets boring driving extremely fast expensive cars....

the 318ic was an e30, i forgot to mention that it was convertible

Oh you mean like how I beat the 325's in the two auto x's i've been to? :D (Abe and Jordan can keep trying ;) )

convertibles dont take too well in auto-x. They are heavy and less rigid.
Just have fun!
