Title: ITB - DBilas E30 M42 (1991) - Thoughts?

Hello,

New to the forum and just picked up a 1991 318is. I tried to do some searching but mixed thoughts.

Anyone have any experience with this kit? (I have also talked to RHD but their kit is made from M42 E36 not E30).

I understand you'll need a tune/chip, or has anyone done anything different in terms of tuning.

Hey YYZE30...

I have this kit on my car. It works just fine. No issues. I am running Megasquirt II. You can probably get the stock ECU to work with ITB's but you'll need a good tuner for that to burn you a chip.

I was looking for this same kit for mine too.  Do they come up used for sale at all?

Thanks! I did some research and one member who has the unit also used an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and bump that to 4 bar I believe. Plus a chip for the computer.
