hey guys im refreshing my m42 , pulled it out the other day and i have a question about the getrag. the throwout bearing is not attatched to the fork. is there a clip or anything thats supposed to be there ? the way it stands when the clutch is depressed theres nothing to pull the throwout bearing back on the fork

Wire type spring to retain the fork on the pivot end.  Clutch slave rod pushs the fork on the other end and the pressure plate fingers push the T/O bearing back when clutch is released.
