Suspect worn lifters or oil pump control valve nr 5 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=AF91-EUR-09-1989-E30-BMW-318is&diagId=11_0504
Cant see little about the control valve did read it somewhere but cant find it
