Title: New Hood Insulation - should I also use aftermarket adhesive?

Hey guys,

Anyone have experience with installing new hood insulation? Just received some OEM insulation to replace the missing panels, and wondered if anyone could share their experience with this. Should I also spray on some 3M adhesive, or will the factory glue (that already exists on the new panels) work just fine? Any tips?

The factory adhesive will be fine.  Just make sure you get all the old off and use a good degreaser to promote a good bond with the hood.
