Post by: Bulletproof91 on January 30, 2017, 07:47:58 AM
Hey guys having some issues getting my new car to run, it's a 91 318is I've done the stomp test and no codes present, I've replaced the cps, cam sensor, fpr, fuel pump, upper and lower intake gaskets, all vacuum lines, plugs wires, I'm getting spark, and fuel, seems like the timing is off, it try's to fire but can't quite get there, I pulled the front engine cover and chain is in perfect condition, and didn't jump a tooth, next I'm gunna run a compression test and if that checks out I'm gunna order and a tested and working dme (used) am I on the right track? Thanks!!!!

Make sure you didn't cross up the coil pack wiring.  There's a wiring diagram on webphones I believe.
