Title: 0ff-road m42?
Post by: Rally Culture on July 26, 2016, 06:32:16 PM
so i came across this vid and it got me thinking  ??? https://youtu.be/wjQFwaOLSDI most of the people doing this are using the more powerful inline 6. has anyone built or is building an off road m42 powered tank? i wud think that our engines just don't have enough torque  especially when equiping larger dirt tires 195/75/14 which i can't find or 27x8.5x14 general grabbers like this guy pictured. maybe with a 4.10 lsd it can creep over rough roads? if anyone can post up some links or pix on the matter that wud cool be thanx!

thanks guys im looking to do more rough terrain like the car in the video so im looking to fit the biggest tires i can on my e30 for more clearance. wats the largest i can fit on stock suspension that are still available? i was thinking of going to 15in since there seems to be a bigger selection but all i have are 14in basket weaves for now.
