Is there a mechanical chain tensioner for the M42?
-
it should not be difficult to make one. Just do not forger that oil passing through it to lubricate chain.

Why?

Just wondering whether there was an option.

Wouldn't the chain be too tight when the engine was cold, and/or too loose when the engine is up to operating temp?
