Title: minimum wiring to run e36 m42 with 990 dme

i have an m42 in my datsun and started the wiring. i have 12v from ign to dme (via relay) through the x20 main harness. grouns are secured and main/fuel pump relays are getting voltage to pin 30 but fuel pump will not prime when ignition is switched on. any ideas?

In the e30 the fuel pump does not prime until the motor is cranking. If you have it wired the same way then it will not prime with the ignition on.
