Hey guys,
I have been having an issue with my car during the last week, E30 318is.
The car doesn't want to accelerate or keep the engine running when I have ran the car for a few minutes, like half an hour and then I turn it back on.
so I go to start the car in the morning, turn on fine and works fine, and I drive like 15 minutes to meet with my coworker to do carpooling, I turn the car off and turn it back on, and it sputters and doesn't want to rev up, so I floor it up to like 6K and it works just fine again, only happens when I turned it off and I turn it back on.
I clean the ICV and id didn't help, I am almost certain is the fuel pump, but I want to know if this would be a symptom of the fuel pressure regulator?
let me know if you have any ideas.
thanks!

Change the spark plugs last Saturday, it helped a lot, but still does it sometimes, I am quite certain right now is not the fuel pump.

My kids 318i kind of did the same thing and it was the Crank Position Sensor.
It would fail when it got hot. You'd have to let it sit for 10-15mins after fueling up to get it started back up.
Hasn't done it since I replaced.
Use B<W brand, off brands are 'iffy'...
