Title: How much power can a Stock Clutch handle?
Post by: dude8383 on January 15, 2007, 09:19:51 PM
Like the title says...

I'm curious because I may try to get my hands on an m40 flywheel and well im doing a rebuild thats going to yield at least 180hp.

you might as well get an m20 flywheel, and i doubt you will be making that much hp

Mines stock and been holding up fairly well it slips a little shifting into 2nd I’m running 11.5 psi and 40shot of nitrous so a new stock clutch should be fine for 180hp.

we'll let the rebuild be the judge of that.

Thanks Shocker!
