Probably not my best idea but I'd like to try making a mold of our dash.
Let me know if you have one you would like to be rid of.
Thanks,
-
I have two I intend to swap out in the future, but those plans have been a long time in the past. :o
Where are you located?

Raleigh North Carolina USA

Damn. I don't mean to yank your chain but I just gave away my last one. It had one large crack but was otherwise OK. That thing had been sitting in my basement for about three years until someone asked about it.
I'll keep an eye out for another one; I do know where a really nasty one is. It'd need a lot of work but PM me if you're interested; I can deliver it for free to Charlotte when I visit my brother down there.

Please keep me in mind. I keep staring at mine and thinking it can't be that hard to do. Other than the pan on the passenger side there aren't any complex shapes on it. One of my goals for doing it would be to eliminate that anyway, I've never liked it.
Thanks,
Steve

I keep thinking about flocking the dash. I see a lot of cracked ones and it'd be nice to repair them, even if it's not OEM.
Plus it'd be fuzzy. The kids would love that! ;D

Nice to see another Raleigh m42'er here!~ What are you plans for the dash? CF?

Wow, time flies. I apologize that I haven't seen your reply.
If I had found a dash, and if I had gotten to it, I'd have done fiberglass. Hasn't happened though.
Sadly, I'll be selling mine as soon as I can get the AC working properly. Not enough room to keep it.
