Title: IRC chatroom
Post by: jpod999 on January 07, 2007, 10:56:14 PM
Yup, now we've got a place to go and talk.

http://irc://irc.hashmark.net/m42club.com

When you click on that link it should open the room right up as long as you have an IRC client.  Hope to see you there!

one of the more common irc programs for windows is Mirc it's shareware but only nags you a little bit. you can find it @ mirc.org I think. once you install it and set up your user information close the server connect box and type.
/server irc.hashmark.net -j #m42club.com

Not likely.
Small sites like this can not keep enough people in an irc room to keep it  going.

IF you guys want to do this, I would suggest setting a time for everyone to meet.  Otherwise one person will sit in there and others will pop in see no one else there and leave.  I have seen this happen on several websites.

When I get home I will get Chatzilla and hop on in.  Sounds like a better alternative than AIM (or trying to AIM).
