I am trying to put my winter wheels/tires on, but I found that the spacers used for my after-market BBS set will not budge. I bought the car with the BBS's on the car a few weeks back, so this is my first time removing them. I believed they would just come off with a few taps of a rubber mallet. Maybe Im missing something completely.
Any advice?

try soaking them with penetrating fluid and smacking them with a hammer. If that doesnt work I would just loosen the rotor locating screw and give the rotor a smack with the hammer to jar the spacer loose.

Too bad you can't buy an adhesive as good as the rust/corrosion combo that sticks steel and aluminum together. I always say Anti-Seize but rarely use it. It's like dieting or quitting smoking. And usually the spacer covers up the rotor bolt. Time for the 5 pound hammer, chisel, or torch.

If you can, try wedging a thin knife or flat blade screwdriver inbetween *careful not to mess up your spacers*
Can you not use your winter wheels with the spacers? Sometimes they can really get stuck on there and you'll have to resort to the BFH which will take them off along with the rotor most times damaging the rotor as it covers the rotor holding screw
