Title: Recommendations on a repair shop in the Hampton Roads area?
Post by: G-Man on December 27, 2013, 08:16:09 AM
Anyone recommend a good shop in the Hampton Roads, VA to install a drive shaft in my 91 318i? Just moved from the left coast to the right coast and I'm hearing a clunk under the car at low speeds when I let off the gas. From what my mechanic told me in CA before I left is that my U-joints in the driveshaft are going south.  I've sourced a rebuilt driveshaft from Mesa, just looking for a local shop to install it.  If anyone has been there, done that, would appreciate some tips, i.e, while I'm in there... new guibo, CSB, etc...

There's no shortage of shops in that area, but I don't have one I can recommend. "VA Driven" is a regional forum you can look through, but the demographics are probably younger than you and I fit in. :P
