Title: Virginia: The Part That Broke The Camel's Back (Updated 16 MAR)
Post by: keflaman on December 12, 2013, 01:51:04 PM
I am absolutely fed-up and tired of tripping over $h!t in my garage. After six or seven years of accumulating parts and stripping two project cars, I have built up a large inventory of stuff that's too good to throw away, but not worth the effort of listing..or at least not each single item.

It's not how I want to present it. I hate it when someone lists a filthy, dirty, nasty part and says, "It'll clean right up!"  Well, I'm going to be that guy this time. Excellent material condition, paint sucks, but it's solid.

Sunroof wind deflector with hardware. Seal is a little hard, but not bad. Despite what I said earlier about people who don't clean stuff they list, I probably wouldn't ever clean this because no one ever buys them. Still, if you want to be one to buck the status quo and rock one here it is. Paint it to match your car or slap stickers on it: $25 shipped.

Bottom attach brackets for E30 antenna assemblies. $1.00 ea + shipping if you actually don't have a couple of these laying around or five for $4.00 + shipping.

M42 radiator parts. $10 for the reservoir, $1.00 each for everything else. Need I say, "+ shipping?"

E30 M20 hoodliner. The one with mouse chew marks is $15 +shipping and the other is $25.

Rear quarter windows and seals; $40 for the set plus shipping...

That's it for the moment. Feel free to make counter-offers, barter, trade, etc. I'm just trying to make some room, pick up a little money for the E30 habit, and have some fun along the way! ;D :o ??? 8) ::) ;)

I got a hell of a lot more stuff to list...cruise control systems, 13 button OBDs, instrument cluster parts, suspension parts, brakes....I'll post 'em up as I go through the garage. I'm in a purging mode :P

More pics and prices to come or feel free to PM me.

I'd be interested in a complete cruise control system.  I'm doing a large overhaul this winter, i'll have to take an inventory of what i want and get back to you.

where are you located?

I'm located near Waynesboro, VA, right off Purple Cow Road so named for a locally popular drive-in...http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8446/7910134964_fe0560dd94_z.jpg

I've received a few PMs and will respond ASAP.

Thanks for inquiring!

How much for the fuel pump hanger picked up? Will take the emergency brake cables also if you have the hanger.

I have an extra hanger that I sandblasted, primed with self-etching primer and finished up with Krylon black. I'll throw in a new o-ring and ask $25 for everything picked up. My wife works in Charlottesville so that would be even more convenient for you.

Unless you want to buy a whole lot more stuff! ;)

So how much for the hanger, working sending unit and whatever O-rings delivered to C'ville? How much more for the emergency brake cables?

I think I have the thread updated. I have lowered the prices on some stuff and contacted everyone. If you haven't heard from me, holler again.

If someone wants to trade, I'm looking for a black rear seat, perforated vinyl and must be an 8.5/10 or better condition. Loose stitching is acceptable, but no cracks or dry rot.

Got the seat I wanted!! I searched http://www.car-part.com/ and there was one listed at a yard semi-local to me. It was exactly what I was looking for and the final item in my two year quest to put together a near perfect interior.

i'm looking for the exact same seat.  Although if i can't find black, i'd settle for tan leather/vinyl.  I figure that'd also match a dark green car.  Found a few hits in my area.  Thanks for the link
