Title: Just did M20 flywheel conversion and.....
Post by: i8ur911 on August 30, 2013, 08:05:01 PM
Used the M20 starter and now my windows, mirrors and blower fan don't work.

WTF!!!!!

Checked the relays. Everything looks to be hooked up right.

What did I miss?

Well the starter circuit has nothing to do with the windows mirrors or blower fan. Double check your connections, especially the ground.

Does the starter engage?

Starter does engage. The car runs and drives, but my windows, mirrors and blower fan don't work. Other people have mentioned the black/yellow wire going to the starter being on the wrong terminal post????

There are 3 wires that connect to the starter, right? I thought that they were all using different sized ring terminals so there is no possible way to mix them up.

Did you check all of your fuses visually, or with a multimeter?

Fixed. Loose connection on starter. Messed with it enough and checked everything AGAIN.......one loose terminal connection later and it works.

Glad you got it solved! Electrical issues can be tricky!
