Title: Fuel cut on overrun on/off?
Post by: E36-italia on July 24, 2013, 09:29:59 AM
Hello,

As you can read from my signature I have the pleasure of owning 2 M42 powered E36 coupe's.

The '94 one has a small pop/bang coming from the exhaust if i rev it to 1200rpm and let go back to idle.
But the one from '93 doesn't.

I've swapped injectors, AFM, Lambda, DME but it has no effect.
What could it be then?

A vacuum leak comes to mind, but the '94 one runs better then the '93 one.. and pulls stronger/gets better mileage.
