I just got my e30 last july4 and i am so xcited! I hope you guys can help me out on tips and suggestions on how i can make the most out of it on my m42

Welcome to the 'club! Car looks like it has some stories to tell, doesn't it?

Did you check the cam gears, vac hoses and oil pan bolts?  I'd put them high up on the 'to do' list...

Hope you have a great time with the car.  There's a ton of good info here and a bunch of good people (though it's not as active as other E30 sites.
