Post by: nickmpower on January 04, 2007, 01:19:47 AM
anyone know anything about this thing? would it have gotten harmed when the block was hot tanked? i think the pressure valve in the timing case is plastic (yeah this was hot tanked too but i have another), so i just want to be sure

sweet thanks, and good. cause the head is already on, with the timing components ect. I just have the things like alternator, and intake left.

any good way to get oil in the system before i turn it over?

i just made sure I'd primed the oil pump and oil filter housing etc, then turned her by hand quite a few times, then turned her on the starter for a minute with no plugs in etc. I was pretty anal, but I think its worth it.
