Title: Bigger Injectors
Post by: kpjo4 on July 20, 2013, 04:44:11 AM
For all you running a low boost/power turbo setup what kind of injections are you guys running? I'm looking for something ez to put in and that would almost be a direct swap... From what I heard the m42s use a weird injector from research on this site and I rather have something that can flow better than our current injectors or even the Mustang injectors, from what I inquired from searching around is some of you all are running on volvo injectors... Wouldn't they run too rich at idle on a basemap?

The E36 M42 uses the odd-ball injectors. The E30 M42 uses standard ones.

Stock injectors for the M42 are 214 cc/minute (~21#/hr) at 3BAR pressure. MANY people mistakenly think that they are 19#/hr.
