The AC in my 91 318is has stopped cooling. Could be many things but earlier this year there was a relay clacking sound at low engine speeds that I couldn't determine where it was coming from. That stopped a couple of months ago. Anyway, most A/C's have a clutch relay, I haven't been able to find mention of one for the 318is.
Any idea if there is one and if there is, where it is located?
Thanks,

I'm told that there is an Evap Temp Regulator under the dash that controls the compressor clutch. Looks like a normal relay with six pins. Found this useful bit out on the web (http://cardealerforums.com/alt-autos-bmw/t1880-e30-c-relay-question-no-power-low-pressure-switch.html).
I'm not sure where it is though, I don't recall one off the top of my head. I'll go check my spares to see if it's clipped to the heater box.
