Title: M44 into M42
Post by: 1991 E30 M42 on January 03, 2007, 09:36:36 PM
I have M44 .50 over pistons, connecting rods, and crank shaft than I want to put into an M42 block, but I dont know if it would work. Has anyone ever done this? Im pretty sure it should work, but I think the M44 has a longer stroke.

What is the displacement of the M44 and the 2.1 liter configuration. They are both in the E36 318is. What are the bores and strokes involved? I thought the M44 was simply OBDII.
