Title: finding fog light switch female connectors

I am installing some oem fog s, i found the wire connector for the fogs but i cannot find the switch wires anyone knows how to find them.  took out  the light switch but still no luck , it seem that the car is pre wired but i cannot find the female connector for the switch, am i missing something help me out here ?

I've seen some that were taped into the wiring harness and fastened to the dash crossmember.  Not easy to find.


That was on earlier cars - it's possible that BMW didn't install that wiring on later cars.  When I get home I'll try to take a picture for you.

hey desktop dave thank for  your directions, it was just like you specified wrapped up in the harness and not easy to find but i was not going to give up,  the easiest way to find it is to look at the schematics and trace the color of the wire (grey and grey with blue strip) coming out of the relay..thanks again bro ...

Did you get them to work? I installed some on my 91 and can't get them to come on I have no power at the switch
