Title: Does anyone have an M42 175 ECU XDF file they can share?
Post by: farmerdanz on March 23, 2013, 03:47:34 PM
I am just popping in to see if anyone has a proven to work XDF file for the 175 ECU that I got with my E30 M42 engine.

I got the one from the tunerpro site already. "BMW_175_318i_soft378.xdf"  Can anyone comment on how it performs who has personally used it to run up their engine?

Can't wait to get the M42 swapped into the E21!

Thanks,
Dan

Nope, wish I did though.

Who did the work on that one?  It seems like it's been a long time since that was uploaded.

I am not too sure who did the work on it.

I was looking through the maps that came pre-loaded into it, and they seem a bit all over the place.

I will probably end up paying or maybe going with a Miller MAF conversion if possible.   Sucks to need to turn the car off to update the bin on the ecu with their hardware... RTP is where it at.

Maybe ask Barrie from Midnight Tuning to look at it and see if its half correct. If its not I would get a tune from him. By far the easiest and most reliable option.
