Title: Help installing a new engine wiring harness.

Hello everyone

I bought a M42 engine came without the engine wiring harness.
Since I bought a new engine wiring harness and now I'm trying to install it on the engine without success.
There are so many sensors that can connect several options at the harness
My question is this Is there a diagram or pictures of all the connections of the wiring harness?
I tried to find on the internet without success, and it really frustrates me.

I'd be happy if you can help me

It would be helpful to know if you have an E30 or E36.

Right, I forgot to mention,
My car E30
I bought the engine and manual gearbox, the engine wiring harness from an automatic E36
