Well I am I the process of starting a swap and will be selling the m42bits.

Full disclosure
I purchased this car with a bad "motor mount". Found motor mount bad due to pist rod shot out side of block thru mount. So I haven't even turned the motor over. The piston did make contact with valves and you can see in pics below.

217K on ODO but autocheck shows 212K in 11/10 so i would hazard a guess of 230K on milage.

Yes all timing components for sale.

Condition good. No cracks, from a 92. Valves made contact with piston that separated from crank. Did not overheat.

You know, I've probably tempted fate long enough by not having a spare, lower oil pan. If you still have it, I'd like to buy it off you.

Standby for PM.

+1 On Smooth Transaction, Let the M42 try on its new parts today, had to take them off though as I'm overhauling the head. Will look pretty sharp when I button it all back up. Thanks for including the valve cover bolts as well, they look much better then the rusty ones I removed :p

Looking to buy an engine loom for conversion of my m40 engined 318i to an E30 M42B18. Have all the mechanical bits and an ECU but need a loom and possibly a coil pack, though not sure, may go down the COP route. Location Australia so international mailing will most likely be required. Tell me what you have.....USPS Priority prepaid large envelope or medium box may take it, cheapest way to ship to oz

Haven't seen the PM yet but definitely interested in the loom, and possibly the coil pack if postage is reasonable. Any idea how much including postage to Australia. Might be better with 2 x usps international priority prepaid large envelopes or maybe one medium prepaid box, depending on weight.  Can Pay pal if you like.
