Anybody got the part number for the brake ducts and trunk trim panel that backs up to the back seat.

The trunk trim panel is black and made of cardboard or similar. The part number might be - 51471933720

Duct left 51 71 1 979 323 - duct right 51 71 1 979 324 - via bmwfans.info (http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E30/4-doors/USA/318i-M42/LHD/M/browse/vehicle_trim/grille-2/)

I am assuming the panel that goes up against the back of the seat member in the trunk, if so, 51 47 1 935 689 however this has been discontinued and the only available one according to the site is 51 47 1 933 720 which is cut for the ski pass.

If you meant the one that covers the area around the tool kit on the trunk lid it's 51 49 1 916 246.

In future, bmwfans.info or similar is your friend, and use the search box there if you cannot easily figure out where the item would be organized.

Thanks Nelson. I'll take a look at the site, but it sounds great!

Looks like the trunk panel (51 47 1 933 720) has the actual cut out, and isn't perforated to remove, like the one I had.

What I needed as the duct between the one you gave me and inner fender liner. What I came up with is: Air duct, right - 51471977002 and Air duct, left - 51711979139 from bmwfans.info and RealOEM.

+1 on that - BMW Fans has saved me a huge amount lot of time for parts lookups.  Having that part number is very useful - and not just at the dealer.  I've found quite a few parts on EBay just listed by the BMW number.  I've also turned down some incompatible parts based on part numbers.

Cross-refs with other BMW models is a pretty helpful feature too.  Cross-refs with other makes would be even more helpful; those aren't available at that site unfortunately.  We're pretty lucky with the E30 - there were very few production line changes over the life of the car.  That site (or the similar RealOEM.com) gets really useful with something like an E24 6-series...there were a surprising number of significant production changes over the life of that car.
