just curious. I'm hoping to get there.

My engine is roughtly on 300k still pulling very strong

my younger sons is at ~365k. Hoping to get it to 400k and out of high school(he's a sophomore now) before we hand the keys over to another 16yr old kid.

161k on a stopped ODO since i got it in 2008. honestly no clue now.

my odo broke at 280k and recently fixed it. I'm guessing at least low to mid 300k now.

my first m42 i retired at 316....only cause the body was falling apart around it. my new 318is has 194K and its going till at least 3/4 million

Yeah, I see no reason why an M42 can't do what the old Volvo Amazons do - just keep going!
But mine only has 189k on it, so we have miles to go before we sleep.

my engine had over 400k before i removed it to replace a shitty oil pump once that gets fixed im removing the current engine and putting this one back in just an fyi i still have over 200 compression per cylinder
