PRICE DROP!7,000OBO
Car is officially for sale. After 3 years of ownership and numerous awesome experiences I'm ashamed to say that it is indeed for sale. I am now fully occupied with work and school and this car is now left sitting and not receiving the attention it once did. This car has been extremely reliable and good to me for these past 3 years. I've learned so much and honestly if I have picked any other car to start my driving career with, I wouldn't have learned as much. I've made sure to bring this car up to reliable mechanic condition while also having it look just as good. Car has a few issues which I will address before it is sold. The hvac panel is cracked which I am replacing this upcoming weekend as well as taking it to paintless dent removal so that it is 100% dent free. Sorry for the dirty pictures but it is the best I can do right now. The car started off as a 1991 318i which needed some work. Here is the original thread for when I picked the car up.

All other photos are in the build threads, will try and add a few more later on. Price is $7,500. Yes I know it seems high, but for the amount of work I had put in to make it perfect and daily driveable it is well worth it. You also get the practicality of 4 doors.
EDIT: forgot to mention, car will come with 4 extra bottlecaps with good condition Michelin All season tires. And I have receipts for EVERYTHING done to the car. A whole stack of them. Will include in sale, along with a few spare parts, like steering wheel, shift knob, and m42 if anyone wants it.
Update as of 2/20/12:
Exhaust has been fully redone, includes a Remus Catback and modified e36 mid section.
New ICV and a bunch of other stuff for which I have all receipts.

That looks great, but it's missing something...

...I can't quite put my finger on what it is...

...oh yeah...an M42!?!

JK - GLWS!  Car looks great - yours is the very twin of mine.  I even had a black sport interior for a while.  I've even done a few of the same mods - I'm definitely jealous of those wheels.  How's the car handle with the new motor.  Must be nice to have that much more torque at your command.

The car actually handles very well with the m50, not too much of a difference but the torque difference is astonishing, not that there's more torque but all of it is much lower down in the rev band, no need to rev it out as much.
