Title: New shoes for the E30
Post by: Balkanac on October 10, 2012, 03:50:11 AM
Got some 16x9s on the car over the weekend, just wanted to show them off :)

Hope you guys like tham coz IMO these are THE wheels for an e30. I've been looking for the right set for 3 years (since i got the car)

Looks awesome.

What offset and tyre size are you running?

Et 15 and 205/45/16. They did rub just a tiny bit on the back but a large pipe sorted it out :)

How much room up against the strut do you have on the rear. Im trying to see if I can get something 16x9 et20 and run 225/45's. What do you reckon?

depends on the lowering. 225 will be considerably wider so you will get some rubbing. I'll take a look tonite and let you know. My car is about 1" lower than stock, sits on H&R springs and i had to run 3mm spacer on the front, but i had no issues with guard rubbing
