Title: Data port sticker
Post by: kingsalmon on September 27, 2012, 03:02:05 AM
This sticker is on my data port cover.  I am wondering if this is normal, or if I have an aftermarket chip installed.  Sorry I don't have a  pic, but it says: "This vehicle is equipped with performance software.  Before performing and EPROM update to the engine or transmission ECU, please call Dinan Engineering."

Sweet!  No - that's not normal.  I've never seen one, but I'd assume Dinan would do stuff like that.  So I'd assume you have an official Dinan chip, that's a good thing to have.

Good to know!  I was able to get a pic for anyone who wants to see.  Kinda blurry, but you get the gist.
