Title: Euro Elip question
Post by: FL318is on November 29, 2006, 09:13:01 AM
Hey guys,

I got a set of euro elips used and for the most part they are good.  I have noticed that on the high beams only I am getting some condensation on the inside of the lens.
1-Can I seal the edge with a silicone chaulk and more importantly,
2-can I remove the glass lens, clean it and replace it with no issues?

Thanks and I will post updated pics this weekend.

1. Yes
2. No, at least not very easily.

Use a hair dryer to get all the condensation out first before sealing it

You do know that you have to get the Euro Grill too to make it official? ;)

Thanks!  I was hoping to clean the glass

Grill will be next.  Although, I am hating this additional seasonal job and not sure how much more I can tolerate.  Customers seem to try to outdo each other for vulagarity and such.

Windows tinted this Saturday.  Trying to save money for rims.  Spent a boatload on repairs.

aside from getting the new connectors, what else is there that I need to install the Euro Ellips? I have the sealed beams on right now. What type of bulb do you guys use normally and finally...how did you wire the city light?

I wired my city lights to the ambers but you can do it to anything you want.  ellips are really easy to install.  Its just wiring...

Where did you tap into them at? I was thinking of doing the same.
