Title: location of idle control valve
Post by: Ramblin MAn on November 27, 2006, 12:59:46 PM
does anyone have a picture or diagram of where the idle control valve is mounted? I know where it should be but my bracket was modified to work with the "other" manifold and it doesn't fit in my car. I've ordered a new bracket, but I'm starting to think that I may have to relocate it.

Standing on the D.side fender and looking in the engine bay - it is to the extreme right. It's literally touching the firewall cover. The bracket for it acts as "washer" to the upper intake manifold and is secured down but the nut that holds the intake manifold.

The hose on the top part of it plugs into the valve cover and the "feed tube" comes from the Intake Bellow.

G.luck
