I have a good block and head for an engine I was going to build. I am moving for college and I need to move it. $375 for the whole deal, or $200 for head or block. Make offers, missing cam gears, headstuds, accesories. Good for anyone who wants to build a motor or fix one. Pics will come pending interest or just later on.
Shipping would be a pain, but I guess I'd see what I could do at your cost, for the head at least. 34208 area.

Hey!
I would definitely be interested in the head...is it already apart? Has it been pressure tested?
I'm in MD so I would need it shipped (you're in FLA right?)

Ps. Pics would be great!

I was going to post pics yesterday but my little brother had to go back to the hospital. Now, I will be getting pics of the block but the weather would make that hard, I have it on my porch all wrapped and sealed and I don't want moisture getting in. So, here's the head. It is still assembled out of a good running car that simply had been pulled to swap 24v. The engine (m42) went into another car, but beforehand was refreshed with all new gaskets and the profile/head gaskets were done. The headstuds were either faulty or undertorqued and thus allowed leakage into the cylinders. There's nothing wrong with this head, but I'd retorque the cam nuts because some look looser than others. The block needs a freeze plug, I do not know why, it was like that when I acquired it and was told it was popped out by accident when the motor was pulled. I am not clear on how to ship this head but I suppose I can learn how.

I can't ship it to you for that price. I do not know the first thing about shipping something this heavy either. If you can pay shipping and guide me towards a proper company to get it done I'd be happy to sell/ship it to you.

Greyhound is good for bulky stuff. Cheap too, but pack it well. Just drop it off at your bus station and they put it on a bus. Ends up at the closest bus station to your destination.
A buddy of mine shipped a whole scooter (crated, of course) for $100 from NJ to Pittsburgh a few years back.

Well, there's a concept worth looking into, up to the prospective to contact me now!

I was thinking Greyhound would be great for body parts too.
Free bump for a good deal!
