When I open my driver side door, my dome light will not turn on, but it will if the passenger side door opens. So my question is, where do I need to look to fix this?
-
Check the button inside the door jamb, down where the door is hinged. Check to be sure the button is not stuck, you should be able to push it in and when released, it will pop back out.

Thanks, I found the button.
It wasn't stuck all the way in but for some reason, I still have to pull the end everytime i push the button in, in order for the light to turn on. Should I maybe spray some wd-40 on it?
-
nope...theres a switch on the dome light!
-
I know theres a switch lol i just like my light to turn on when i open my door, becuase my light on the other side is broken (not just the bulb)
-
my switches are wearing out and it takes a few sec's on the DS for the lights to turn on and I have to pull the switch out on the PS for the lights to come on :(

yes, thats what the switch does. there are two positions, one for always off, the other for when you open the door the light turns on.

i know that lol

You could swap driver and passenger door switches and then grab one next time you go to a salvage yard.
-
or you could always enter and egress from the PS...

Yes.
