Any brand of diff fluid better than the next?
I've used Mobil 1, Redline, and Castrol synthetic fluids in my LSDs over the years and they've all been fine.
I say just get a quality name synthetic and call it a day.

I do not have one. Thinking Redline. Any particular weight/vis?
-
Redline 75W-90 is a good choice.
-
I will pick it up on the way home.

i have made a mistake while ordering oil, and i put Castrol SAF-XO (for final drive without limited slip differential) instead of a SAF-XJ (for and without LSDs). They are both full synthetic 75W90. Do you think I should change the oil, or it can stay? It's not really cheap, so...

hw do you replace the diff fluid? i see the bottom most bolt, but i dont want to drain it unless i know where to fill it up from... and how much can the diff hold? got a stock, small case 4.10 non-lsd

...the top most bolt is the fill. I bought 3 containers (?quarts?) not sure but rec you wait for the Tech heads to reply.
