Title: Radiator break-down
Post by: Shift_Now on November 21, 2006, 10:45:37 AM
there is a small crack just under where the bleeded screw screws into on my radiator, does anyone know of a place where there is a break-down picture of a radiator, so I can find out what the part is called, so I can either buy that part, or find out I have to buy a new rad.

Thanks

The bleed screw goes into the radiator tank even though it looks like it goes into the cover plate. Unless you can repair it (the threaded part only) you will need a new radiator. The boss on mine split and I epoxied it and put a small hose clamp around it. I have to take the upper hose loose to bleed it now. Best deal I know of is $163 to your front door from http://bmaparts.com (http://bmaparts.com/).
