Title: E36 M42 clutch conversion
Post by: Casey Belarde on June 26, 2012, 10:40:20 PM
I have been reading the forums and seen numerous conversions done from dmf to smf. I too want to do the conversiondue to the price of the dmf.
I've found the valeo kit and the beck/arnley kits

has anyone used these kits?
and has anyone found any NON-BMW flywheeland or clutch parts that will work too? i.e audi,vw,mazda chev, ford and etc....

thanks for any feed back

i did the conversion on my e30, i used a flywheel and the clutch kit off an M40 engine. Not sure if you have those available in US, its a single cam 1.8
