My car has always done this.
I have an e36 and some days is worse than others. It wont stall if im giving it gas, but when i stop revving it will stall(in video).
Its fine once i start driving and revving it up, but will sometimes randomly stall at a light
It was pretty bad today, so i decided to make a video and ask you guys
I already replaced MAF and boot
Going to try fuel injector cleaner
seafoam?
o2 or crank sensor?
what do you guys think?

I'd find out what codes its throwing, for starters. mechanically speaking, when was the last time the fuel filter was changed?

stomp test says no codes
shop hooked up scanner and told me same thing
fuel filter and pump were changed about 2 years ago

Sounds like a vaccum leak in a hose or the intake manifold gasket.

the hoses all look fine. Havnt thought of intake manifold gasket. Im gonna check that out

Vacuum leak or bad fuel pressure regulator.

Check the two pipes on the Idle Air Control Valve. Mine's been known to pop off, which would cause something like this to happen, where it can run for a bit, then dies etc. Its just under the intake pipes, near the firewall. If the pipe disconnects, it won't throw a code , as the resistance/functioning of the unit itself still works.

My e30 has almost identical symptoms. I just recently did the mess under the intake and I don't remember it doing it before that but I didn't drive it very much before that either so IDK but I will look into the vacuum leak thing.
