my friend is going to help me build a custom exhaust on a budget. im looking for picturs of stock exhausts, or even pictures of the underbody so i can see it on the car. cant find any for some reason. i mean i found like 1-2 but nothing good.
also, anyone know anything about jones exhaust parts? pretty cheap on summit

ok i actually just now found one pic. and its a good one.
the cat is the first thing aft the headers, right? and the small blob-looking thing is a resonator?
my car has 135,xxx miles on it. original exhaust. u think i cam get away with keeping the stock cat? im on a really tight budget.

Yeah, you got it..the cats after the headers and the blob resonates:)
you can use the cat as long as there are no holes in it, cracks in the pipe, or rattling sounds from inside it. put it back on and fab a system from there back. you could cut off the flared end and use it again on your new system. you can cut the hangers off and reweld them to the new pipe. then run your system for a while until the cat does go, and replace it when you need to.

ok cool. only thing is that the stock ones have zero straight parts, it just wriggles out back. i dont want to get a whole bunch of bended tubes.
anyone have a pic of their custom exhaust
