Title: Where do you buy fog lamp lenses?
Post by: locknload on March 08, 2012, 09:13:25 PM
for a '91?  All I can find is the entire assembly.  $200 to replace a pitted lens is a bit steep, even for these cars.

Salvage for me.  I had to go through about three cars before I found a decent set.

If you are not married to the OEM glass concept, I have heard good things about the lens replacements for late-model fogs sold at BMWlight.com. $49 for two, of course they are plastic but everything I have heard is they are nice quality. I plan on buying and then slapping on some tinted lamin-x, I never use the fogs and I just want to freshen up the front end. Just my 2 cents.

I bought a set off of ebay.  $75 for the pair. They came complete with frame and lens.  I had to provide the bulb of course.  The only discrepancy was the connector on the back of one was a little too small to plug in my OEM wires.  When I mentioned it on Bfc, the seller contacted me and asked if I would like a refund or return.  I told him that I made it work and he refunded 30% of the price.  I don't see any listings from him atm though.
