Title: Interesting CL ad

I'll head over if anyone is looking for anything special.  Sounds mysterious and interesting...you never know what you'll turn up with an ad like this:

My dad worked for various BMW dealers over the years (30+) and recently  passed.  He stockpiled a lot of parts, mainly extras for his e30 and e36  M3s (body panels, seats, wheels, etc.) but he has cool items from many  other models.  All new, all OEM, lots of euro-spec parts.  I'll be  taking pictures this weekend (weather permitting) or feel free to make  an appointment to see it in person.  We have 4 storeage lockers full of  parts near Warrendale that I need to clean out before March 10.

That's likely a lot of stuff.  Not sure what's there though.  If he's getting desperate I might consider an offer.

The OP seems sincere enough. In my experiences, when family passes, the children/remaining family members just want to unload the stuff and get rid of it- whatever that may be. In which case, even though my funds are limited due to academic endeavors, I am very curious as to what is laying around.

I think out of pure curiosity alone, DesktopDave, you should go do a quick inventory and soon!!!

To point you to something specific that I am interested in-
An awesome non-srs steering wheel. I will be picking up an M-Technik 2 in Germany this summer, but if I can have it now for a reasonable price, then yay me.
Most importantly, I'm looking for the left and right fog lights with mounting brackets that install next to the brake air ducts in the bumper. The lenses cannot be cracked. Pitted is ok as I can recondition them.

If you can talk the guy down to a respectable price, I am certain I would pull the trigger. I'd also throw in some beer money for your effort. Keep me posted!

I just clicked on the link and it has been deleted. And I just happen to be in Pittsburgh at the moment. Damn!
