At the risk of being thrown out of here, has anyone tried cover a cracked dash with something like 3M DiNoc Carbon Fiber Vinyl Sheet Wrap?  I suppose one would have to fill the cracks 1st with some kind filler, maybe silicone.  I don't know if it would stretch to line parcel tray on the passenger side.  Folks seem to be doing lots with the material.

The new car is a more "in face" cracked dash, maybe it was the dash in the wrecked car grew on me since I had it since new and the cracks were all mine!

I always thought a low-expansion foam like urethane might fill the cracks, and stick to the dash, yet flex enough to keep from cracking again.  That foam is surprisingly strong.

I'd figure the DiNoc would be difficult to wrap on the parcel shelf too, though I've never used it myself.  Looks nice on some trim I've seen, IMHO a whole CF dash might be overwhelming.

I vote "go for it."  I'm all for fixing an old dash.  You should see how bad my e24 dash looks...

I've thought of filling in the parcel tray and covering it with CF or something similar.

I just looked at that stuff on some other sites that are selling it.  I think you should give it a shot.  If your dash is already cracked, what have you got to lose other than time and cost of the stuff.  Well, I guess that is sort of expensive, isn't it?
