Title: M42 head on M44 block

If one took an M42 head complete with all its original parts & OBD1 electronics…& placed it on an M44 short block. Understanding that there would have to be some compatibility issues worked out.
Again, placing an M42 OBD1 head on an M44 short block. Would you get 6% more displacement therefore 6% more horse power/torque?
I am not doing this…just curious.
