Completely having seen all posts of a forum, I start building. The plan following:
1.crankshaft m47 e46
2.s52b32 pistons by Mahle (86,4mm)
3.m44 connecting rods
4.dbilas dynamic Camshafts 272/10.5 lift
5.dbilas ITB for m44
6.m44 original valve
Compression ratio 11.5
Spare parts are ordered, I start rebuilding...

I buy used m47 crankshaft on the average condition.
Later the crankhaft reground in the first repair size (sorry,i do not know as will be in English)

Crankshaft bearing from m47 engine
Rod bearing - m44 original
s52b32euro pistons shaved on 3.6mm. The place for valves is made: exhaust -1,2mm, int-1,6mm.

Use m44 crank sensor and front cover with sensor seat from m42.
This winter plan to make cylinder head porting in Finland and install new CatCams 322deg camshafts.
I am interested in the potential NA m44 in "homemade" tuning.
