Title: Its ALIVE!
Post by: benbimmer357 on January 10, 2012, 11:17:50 AM
Okay... For anyone who needs to know. Spark plug wires should be plugged in to the coils on a E36 M42 with individual coils as follows.... From the radiator 4-1 -2-3. That is the only way it will start -- I probably spent way too much money on extra parts because I did not know this and it is not very clear when searching on the web....

Hope this helps someone in the same situation in the future!

I am having a warm start problem now and it throwing codes for TPS and Coolant sensor and it has a front of the engine oil leak but at least it is running!
