doing a bunch of fluid flushes on my 318is yesterday.
That was the blackest power steering fluid I've seen in my life, and the brake fluid? Don't make me talk about it. The scars are still fresh.
NASTAY ...
And we found my oil leak. Cam sensor. It had been off the front of the cylinder head and reinstalled improperly. Pulled it, cleaned up the mess, installed it properly and VOILA, oil leak gone.
I have only started my 325i once or twice lately -- moving it around the driveway. I think she's getting jealous.

You have a P/S rack that's not leaking? I'm jealous too.
I had the same leak at the sensor. Next is the one is the oil filter housing...that's oozing all over the place.

The rack is dry, but the hoses under the reservoir were leaking like nobody's business.
So far, two new hose clamps have solve the issue. There were still factory clamps on those lines, and they were pretty well compressed ...
Yeah, so far I feel like a lucky stiff with this car! She's a honey.
