in the first picture u can see a broken hose, right under the throttle body, in the second picture u can see a short hose on the intake hose tht looks like it should conect to the broken hose. Anyone know what the broken hose leads to?

i believe it should go to the barred male connector thats under the throttle body...
i would do the mess under the intake mod to save you some money which is quite simple...
hose from valve cover thats closer to the fan goes directly under the throttle. and the hose under the ICV towards the plug on the intake boot... eliminating all the hoses that route in between... this can explain it better than i can

cant see the images,  but look at the threads that talk about "the mess under the intake"  and how to get rid of it.  there are a couple of diagrams that show where all the hoses go.  it sounds like the vacuum hose that goes to the throttle body, has a little short peice then a plastic elbow. the elbow takes it to a junction where water hoses are incorporated to heat the emmisions hoses.  I think eventually one end goes to the rubber bellows and the hose from the valve cover plugs in there too...the diagram may help, but it is a nightmare of hoses to the un-initiated, the problem being, once 1 breaks, as your did, the rest are not far behind.

That appears to be the hose that should go to the throttle intake boot from the ICV.  But it looks like someone has taken that hose which would normally be two parts and directed it from the ICV.  Note the long spliced vac (although it really looks like coolant) hose in the lower right corner.  It was probably done when the funky three pronged vac line failed.

By the way, this is how it should look stock, minus the hose from ICV to valve cover on the right.  Basically, I don't think you have a problem, just an extra hose and some bodgery under the intake.  I would just axe all of that crap, as when one hose fails and is bypassed the others are only a short time away from failure.
